Here's a creative solution to the economic downturn -- let people pay you to wear their swag.
Jason Sadler, 26, sells companies the opportunity for him to wear their company's shirt for a day. He charges what he calls "face value", meaning January 1st costs $1 and December 31st costs $365. It might not sound like a ton of cash, but it adds up to $66,795 on a sold out calendar. He then sells monthly sponsorships adding upwards of $18,000 to his take home.
It may seem like one of those ridiculous ideas that would never actually work, but last year Jason made $83,000. According to BLS.gov, the average US take home was $32,000.
Here's the best part. In true entreprenuerial style, Jason's hiring on the west coast of the United States to expand his fledgling company's reach. Time to start bombarding his website with that Emurse resume. Make sure to mention how awesome your farmer's tan is in the cover letter!

I understand completely. Back in the early 70's, I bought a couple of budweiser ashtrays at the mall. My husband was furious. Told me never to buy a company logo again, that they should be paying me to advertise for them.

I'm hitting the b*llsh*t button on this one! Who is going to pay some nobody $365 to wear a T shirt for one day? And, as one person already pointed out, why pay $365 on December 31 when you can supposedly get it for $1 on Janaury 1st? What a complete load of crock!

Pff, I make money wearing a t-shirt too, but only on casual Fridays.

I don't get why he charges only $1 jan. 1 and $365 dec. 31 other than the days of the year. I mean who would pay 365 when the can wait a day and only pay $1? It should be a flat rate all year long.

obviously you would never make a dime in this venture,or many others.not to put you down, but you
just dont realize the blatant obvious. Its called "exposure".i'm sure before he even gets an ear from a
corporation he must present some sort of business plan i.e. "WHY SHOULD WE PAY YOU TO WEAR OUR
SHIRTS & WHY THE DIFFERENT PRICE STRUCTURE?" answer "BECAUSE I PLAN ON GOING TO THIS PLACE
AND THIS PLACE ON "NEW YEARS EVE" [DEC31ST]" his projected exposure of a company logo could be in
the hundreds if not thousands"depending on how busy he is.he may have a formula [.15c per glance
multiplied by a projected 3333 glances on that day =$365.00 new years day he may roll out of bed,hit
the store24 by noon[7 glances=$1.00].golf brand at a golfing convention on may3rd=$$$$$ GET-IT

They'll be telling everyone and laughing about the stupid call they just got, all day!

This is such crap! Whoever comes up with this garbage is on the same level as the "writers" for the weekly world news. Oh, and FYI everybody, the same goes for the BS ads about making a killing posting URL links to Google. Not only is it incredibly complicated, YOU have to pay a fee everytime somebody clicks on that link. AND, to get that link posted near the top tier of web hits is so convoluted and tedious, it will make your brain overheat. Spare yourself the grief and don't fall for this crap like I did. Just a word to the wise.
